Food Storage

I just found the coolest sight in helping with food storage! This is what we are doing with some of our tax return. I have an overwhelming feeling that we need to get in our year supplies and 72 hour kits as soon as possible. (I hope I never have to use it) but I will have great peace of mind if I have it. http://foodstoragemadeeasy.net I hope this site helps you! Let me know what you think or if you have any other helpful information about food storage.

Here are some new recipes that we tried for the Superbowl. My friend Anna brought them over and we made them together with the kids while the Husbands watched the game! It was a lot of Fun. It really kept the girls busy so they didn't get in the way of the game. I think it will be our new family tradition!

Mom Advice

I started a blog but it didn't work as well as I thought so I will start posting my advice, recipes and any other mom stuff on my family blog.

Yesterday I was talking to my neighbor and she said she had saved $50 on her grocery bill buy using coupons. I thought she was amazing! Here is her advice!

1. Buy the Sunday paper and save all those coupons you love but don't need right away. They usually are good for 4 to 6 months.

2. Don't clip a coupon that is buy two and you only save .50 or less. It's not worth it

3. Get your coupons online at www.couponmom.com

I hope this helps me and all my friends in saving some money.
