HOA Harvest Festival

Our HOA had a great festival. Hay rides, Pony Rides, Cotten Candy and Hotdogs, Face painting and games. The girls loved it - Sadie wasn't happy about the pony but she liked to look at it.

What the HAIL!

Was kept up late one night with this huge hail storm. They say everything is bigger in Texas but I think the Gods must be mad at Texans because they are throwing rocks!

Garage Sale

Our comunity had a garage sale and a friend of mine came over with all her stuff so I let the girls have a lemonade stand. They did a great job and always have a lot of fun - then they spent all their earnings shopping at the sale. They must take after their Grandma

Found this old desk for $10 and with a little work and paint it turned out perfect for Lily's room.

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween! This year there was way to much celebration over this Holiday. It was more like a full month than a one day holiday. Next year I'll be better prepared and have just one day for Halloween. My girls were very cute though.

Aniversary Cruise 2010

Alan and I had our 10th Anniversary and took a cruise. If you want a vacation that you can totally relax I would recommend a cruise. Royal Caribbean has better food and is a little more elegant but Carnival was fun. I made a scrapbook using Picaboo. You can check it out here.

Thanks Alan for the best 10 years of my life and for the most beautiful 4 girls I have ever seen.

I have the best relationship. In 10 years of marriage we have never had a fight. Amazing you might think but it's just that wonderful we have nothing to fight about.

I love you Alan here is to many more fun and adventurous years together.

Lily's 9th Birthday

Lily's birthday was so fun this year. She had a camping theme and we bought flashlights and glow necklaces for all the girls. She is growing so fast and even thought of the idea for her own cake. Her favorite Reese Peanut Butter Cups on top of chocolate cup cakes with white frosting. They had a water fight, cooked hot dogs on the fire pit and finished off the night with roasting marshmallows. Only Lily, Chloe and Kat- lily's BFF slept in the tent. At about 4 am a big storm hit so I went out side to check on them and they were fast asleep through the loudest thunder I have ever heard :) I went back out at 6am and Lily was standing up in the middle of the tent. I woke the others up and had them run inside. :) Happy Birthday Lily!

Bishops Store House

I was able to take Lily and Chloe to the Bishops Store House to do service today. They loved it and worked really hard. It's great to be able to have the opportunity to do service for those in need. I hope they grow up to love doing service for others!

I remember going to the Salvation Army Soup Kitchen with my Dad when I was a teenager or back from school and helping make sandwiches and serving it to those in need. Pick Pears at the Church Pear Farm with my youth group. These are some of my greatest memories.

I have always thought doing service for others was fun and never a burden. Lily and Chloe had such a great time today. Lily said " Mom this is fun can we come every day" I wish we could.

FHE

I went to Lily's open house and this is a picture she had up on the wall for display!! Yeah! It's working they do hear me even when they fight through FHE and tell me it's boring! They love Family Home Evening :)

Chloe's Room

Chloe picked out the colors for her bedroom and we picked out a design together. I think it turned out pretty well now all we need is for Grandma to make her a matching quilt - hint hint. LOL.

Ouch!! Poor Sadie

Sadie was twirling fell and hit her head on the TV stand. She was a mess. Luckily I have great neighbors and friends. My neighbor picked the girls up from school and my friend drove us to BAMC to get Alan to help. We were in the ED for 7 hours and that's with my husband being the DR. They had to knock her out it was a little scary seeing her like that but much better than seeing her strapped down and screaming. She is much better now. Daddy took the stitches out at home. She was not happy and told me "Daddy cut me" All is forgiven now and she is back to twirling.
