MY PURSE WAS RETURNED

Yes that is what I said. Saturday night I received a call from Michael's and they had my purse in their vault for several days. He said he didn't know why I wasn't contacted earlier but that it appeared nothing was missing. Alan was home - a rare occasion- so I jumped in the car and picked it up. Everything was still in the purse, keys, glasses, credit cards, Hannah's change purse with all her coins. It was amazing.

Why did I have to go through this experience? I don't know for sure but this is what I learned.

First, Heavenly Father does hear and answerer are prayers. Not always in the way we would like but He is listening to us.

Second, There are evil people in this world. The day my purse was lost. I came home in a panic and so upset at my self for losing it again. That night when I watched the news they had announced the killer of Adam Walsh and I thought " I am truly blessed it could have been worse it could have been one of my children".

Third, There are also good people in the world. Someone did in fact find my purse I left in the shopping cart and turned it in along with the bag of items I just purchased.

Hopefully I will never lose my purse again!!!

We have been so busy!

The last couple of weeks have been crazy! As you can tell I have not posted anything for awhile. First we all got some kind of fever bug. Then a stomach virus. Next we caught a cold and Sadie now has an ear infections. I've been up to my elbows in poop, vomit and snotty noses! Thanks again Alan for the Carpet Shampooer!

In the middle of that Lily had her last soccer game and they tied! The kids were so excited they didn't lose. We had several Christmas parties to attend including a progressive dinner at my house and we finished painting the kitchen and family room!

The last thing that proves to me I'm really losing it is I lost my purse, again! Third time this year! And you wonder why I don't want any more babies. My brain can't handle it. Kudos to all you wonderful Mothers out there, I know how hard it is. Hopefully the rest of this year will be better!

Hannah had a wonderful 4th birthday. I can't believe how she has grown. She loves to go to preschool, color, play with play dough, craft and play games on the computer. Her new things is to make up all kinds of songs. Here are some pictures of her birthday party.

Blue Angels and my Angels

We went to the air show last weekend.

Alan says the "Blue Angels" are the best and after seeing them I have to agree. The girls were hot and tired because we got there a few hours early but as soon as the show started they were great. Check out some of the pictures I got. Amazing.

Creating Memories!!! Happy Halloween!!

Here are my cute little girls!!

I know my kids had a fun time for Halloween but can I tell you how much I think this holiday is a waste of money. What are we celebrating? Spending money: Costumes, Candy, Decorations. And why do we have so many parties. I had to get the girls in costumes 4 times: Church, Neighborhood, School- they had to wear something different for school- and then Halloween night. I just don't understand this holiday and I am glad it is over.
The girls brought home about 8 lbs of candy but Lucky for us the "Switch Witch" came and switched their candy for a toy.

I guess Halloween is for creating wonderful childhood memories!

Lily's new sport

She loves playing soccer. Despite it's her Dad's least favorite sport he sure cheers her on. She does a super job. They have her in as goalkeeper most of the time. She sure takes after her Daddy when it comes to sports and I am so glad!!!

new member of the family

You will fall off your seat when you here this but we got a dog. I know I am not a dog person but I feel it's important for the girls. Portia is a year old and already house broke so I thought it would be a good idea. The girls love her and she is very good with them. She lets them carry her everywhere and Sadie will pull the dogs ears and she will let her. Too bad for Alan we still didn't get a boy!

Velcro Wall anyone?

The girls loved the velcro wall. Our neighborhood HOA had a summer party. We do live in the best community. It was even featured on the news "San Antonio Living" You could see the girls in the background getting their swim lessons. They were so excited to be on TV

Swimming Lessons

With the new pool across the street we decided to get the girls in swim class. I asked one of the Lifeguards if He could teach them for a great price. He is an excellent teacher and the girls really had a fun time. They love Sam the lifeguard.

Sadie's growing up fast.

She started eating solid foods. What a Face.
She sits up by her self now. What a big girl
